ABSTRACT In contemporary Anglo-American philosophy, there has been substantial debate between religious and secular theorists about what would make life meaningful, with a large majority of the philosophers having drawn on Christianity. this article, in contrast, I draw Judaism, aims articulating characteristically Jewish approaches to life's meaning, which is kind intellectual history, providing some support for them relative familiar Christian Islamic (salient Tanakh, New Testament, Qur'an), more philosophical enterprise. Sometimes point out that dominant views philosophy favor approach meaning rivals, e.g., insofar as Judaism contends merely earthly can be meaningful.
